Kamling Wong received her BA from International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan and her MA from Harvard University. Her field of specialty is East Asian Art. She is interested in the cross-cultural impact of Chinese civilization on other cultures. She has published a book called The Great Tangshan Earthquake: An Anatomy of Disaster. Recently, her research has centered on parenting practices and acculturation issues of Asian American families and China's environmental issues.
