Letter to Senior Class
Dear Seniors:
This welcome goes out to all undergraduate senior students in the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, the School of Journalism, and the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences who have earned 85 or more credits. Also, to Second Bachelor’s students who are seeking to earn another undergraduate degree.
You are encouraged to stop by the Academic & Pre-Professional Advising Center and make an appointment with an advisor to discuss any questions or concerns you may have regarding your academic work. In addition, an advisor will review your general education requirements and discuss your preparation for graduate school or pre-professional careers. To that end, we would like to suggest the following:
• Meet with your academic major and minor advisor to assess your progress towards the completion of those requirements.
• Visit the Advising Center website to download information and to learn about upcoming events under “What’s New?”
• Make an appointment with a career specialist in the Career Center.
In addition, please take a minute to register for the Advising Listserv that can be accessed through the Academic & Pre-Professional Center’s website. This is the best method to receive academic information in a timely manner.
Remember that the Academic & Pre Professional Advising Center is here to support your academic endeavors.
We wish you all the best for a most productive and rewarding senior year.
