Welcome to the University at Stony Brook's Educational Opportunity Program/Advancement on Individual Merit (EOP/AIM). If you are a new EOP/AIM admitted student we congratulate you on selecting Stony Brook and on your decision to become part of EOP/AIM. We are here to assist you in any way we can, and we are confident that if you work hard you will be successful in achieving your goals.
The EOP 40th Anniversary Celebration
On April 5, 2008 EOP at Stony Brook celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the program state-wide. The event celebrated the accomplishments of the program and acknowledged those people that paved the way for many EOP Stony Brook graduates.
This successful event also helped raise funds for the James Nobles Memorial Scholarship, which is presented annually to a junior or senior EOP/AIM student who has earned at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and has made significant contributions to campus life, and exhibits the characteristeics of the work and leadership James Nobles exemplified during his tenure at SUNY Stony Brook.
This year's James Nobles Scholarship winners are Latoya Joyner and Chinelo Onochie.
