Professor Jourdain is active in many local, regional, national and international language teaching associations including LILT, NYSAFLT, AATF & ACTFL where she regularly gives presentations.  At Stony Brook, she teaches courses such as Methods & Materials of Foreign Language Teaching, Curriculum Development, Foreign Language Acquisition Research, and all levels of French.
