Classification & Compensation
The Classification & Compensation section, commonly referred to as "Class & Comp", helps departments ensure that State and Research Foundation positions are appropriately graded and employees equitably paid. This section advises departments on hiring parameters. We work with departments to ensure that compensation procedures meet institutional policies and contractual obligations. We evaluate positions to help promote and retain employees and support sound organizational staffing needs.
