Korean Studies Undergraduate Scholarships
The Program in Korean Studies and the Center for Korean Studies are pleased to announce Jeen Hong Kim Scholarship, Undergraduate Award for Academic Achievement and Leadership. This semestrial award is to recognize an undergraduate Korean Studies minor student who has shown outstanding academic achievement, scholarly promise, service and leadership to the Stony Brook community. Students who are in Korean Studies minor and have taken two and more courses in the Korean Studies with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA are eligible to apply, and the awardee will receive $1,000. All applications and supporting documents should be submitted to either the Center for Korean Studies (143A Old Chemistry) or Dr. Hongkyung Kim (11124 Humanities), Director for Korean Studies Scholarship Program, by November 20th 2009.
