Computing Lab

The Professional Education Program and the School of Professional Development at Stony Brook University operate a joint PEP/SPD Computer Lab. Located on the first floor of the Social and Behavioral Sciences building (Room N-123), the lab serves as a testing, evaluation and instructional facility for P-12 educators.

One of the labs primary purposes is to collect a software library for P-12 education and to compile a database of the library, much like an online card catalog for a traditional library.

PEP/SPD Instructors and Students are encouraged to visit the facility to peruse and evaluate the software for use in their schools. The lab is equipped with the following
