Stony Brook's Red Hot Athletic Bands

Welcome to the home of the Stony Brook University Athletic Bands, including the Red Hot Marching Band, Seawolves Pep Band, Color Guard, Winter Guard, and Drumline.

Our Athletic Bands Program is growing and creating an exciting atmosphere of spirit and pride on our campus. We support the football team in the fall with our pre-game and halftime shows, and by providing pep band music in the stands.

We created the atmosphere in LaValle stadium that helped our team have an undefeated home season in 2007. During basketball season we generate excitement in the Stony Brook Arena for both our men’s and women’s basketball teams.  And we travel with both teams during tournament season.
We are also the official band of the New York Dragons Arena Football team and we perform at all their home games.

Band members have exclusive access to our band practice and instrument storage facilities including the marching band lounge. Be a part of it.
