The Stony Brook $1,000 Short Fiction Prize

Now in its 19th year!

The 2009 Stony Brook $1,000 Short Fiction Prize has been awarded to Ryan
Brown of Duke University for her story, "To Be Certain."

Stories receiving 2009 Honorable Mentions were written by Christian Parsons of SUNY-Oswego; Jake Schindel of Dartmouth College; and Anne. M. Shepherd of Texas Tech University.
