November 2006 - Jonathan Kao received the best student paper award from the ASME fluid division, at the IMECE 2006 Chicago Congress, for research work done as a high school student in the Simons Program under the mentorship of Dr. Daniel Attinger. Jonathan is now a freshman in Stanford. The work was also featured in the May 2006 edition of the New Scientist. Congratulations Jonathan!
