Saving Your Data

Students taking SPD computer courses are required to bring a flash drive to class to save their work. A flash drive is a small data storage device with a USB connector. Flash drives save files quickly, are relatively inexpensive, and will come in handy even after the course is over. You can purchase one at any major office supply store, electronics store, or from your favorite online retailer. Prices are based on the data storage size (from 512MB to 4 GB+), with 1 GB models ranging from $9 to $25, depending on where you buy it.
