Flexible Scheduling
To accommodate the needs of working adults, Stony Brook’s School of Professional Development (SPD) offers courses in the evenings, on Saturdays and online. With the SPD Online program, students can earn their MPS or advanced graduate certificate completely online, without ever coming to campus.

SPD’s two graduate programs provide a balance of practical and theoretical knowledge for candidates aspiring to enhance their career opportunities with an advanced academic credential. All coursework aligns with professional standards of practice, making SPD graduates an asset to the companies and non-profits that employ them.
